Description: True Detective's first season is one of the most remarkable seasons TV has to offer. There are many things that elevate the show but none more than the brilliant writing of showrunner Nic Pizzolato and the characters he creates. Each character feels like a fully imagined human being, and that's all in the script. This video aims to break down some of the ways Pizzolato develops his character over the course of the season, and hopefully illustrate just how important good character development is. (Album description) The Hadron Pond is the first full LP from Color Television and was recorded and mixed during the winter months of January and February 2017 in a small Chicago apartment. The recording process began as an experiment in live sound manipulation using a variety of analogue and digital techniques while avoiding the use of a computer for anything other than the recording process. These experiments gave way to an exploration of short form composition with an emphasis on the utilization of non traditional noise elements, improvised free ambient soundscapes, and groove oriented hooks. The final compositions were paired with a variety of short media pieces and a selection of digital photo collages. This album was created with the use of a variety of effects pedals, handmade electronics, microphones, semi-modular and modular electronics, an electro-acoustic springboard, a custom Gibson Marauder, a Korg M50 music workstation, and the human voice. dollarshaveclub.com/filmradar Follow me: patreon.com/filmradar facebook.com/thefilmradar twitter.com/film_radar This video was written and edited by Daniel Netzel. danielnetzel.com Microphone Used: amzn.to/2zd0Cc5 Pre-Amp: amzn.to/2hInTLM Edited Using: amzn.to/2iEyybb amzn.to/2B98FYR Sound Mixing: amzn.to/2hSEJve (full disclosure these are affiliate links, if you choose to buy I get a little kickback for you following the link)
